U21's Draw away at Brentwood

City U21's had to settle for 1 point in a game that they had enough chances ,including a missed penalty to finish off by half time . A defensive error , a poor back pass lead to Brentwood opening the scoring . Charlie Webb in the City goal had little else to do in the first half .
City equalised from a fine delivery from James Paul and an excellent header from Charlie Parish and went on to take the lead just before half time through Mamwanga after an excellent cross field pass from Tim Monsheju .
Brentwood started the second half well and took the game to City having good spells of possession although again City created a number of chances to extend their lead . A loose ball just outside of City's penalty area was meet with a powerful shot through a crowd of players for Brentwood to score their equalising goal on 80 mins , which their second half efforts deserved. City responded and pushed for the winning goal and again missed a couple of good chances but the score remained at 2-2 .
