U21's good form continues
City U21's travelled to top of the table Potters Bar . The home team started the brightest and it became obvious that City had a difficult game on their hands .
Joe O'hare scored City's first goal on the half hour after a corner taken by Lawrence was headed back across goal by Grimsey to find O'hare, with his back to goal swivel and shoot to find the bottom corner.
There were two more very good chances in the first half which City were unable to convert to give them a cushion into the second half .
Potters Bar started the second half well and on 55 mins were awarded a penalty after a slip on the surface by Paul Grimsey turned into a foul. The penalty was converted to bring the scores level .
Potters Bar had much of the possession for the next 20 mins with Chelmsford working tirelessly and defending well . City changed shape and moved Andy Fennel into a central attacking role where he had more success and created a number of chances .With 5 minuets remaining a through ball from Taylor Lawrence found Fennel , with 2 defenders to beat he cut inside the penalty area , committed the goalkeeper and coolly finished to score City's second and winner .
An excellent away performance against good opposition and a valuable 3 points .
