Forecast (pictured) began his career at Tottenham Hotspur and, during his 5-year-spell in the youth set-up, helped Spurs reach the semi-final of the FA Youth Cup. After struggling to breakthrough into the first-team at White Hart Lane he transferred to Southampton for an undisclosed fee.
He was subsequently loaned out to Grimsby Town where he made his first professional appearance in the Football League. The 6ft 5in custodian has also turned out on loan for Eastbourne Borough, Thurrock, Bromley and, most latterly, Gillingham. He made his league debut for the Gills in November of last year against Accrington Stanley.
He's appeared for the Clarets on a couple of occasions during pre-season, against Norwich City and Heybridge Swifts, and the club are delighted to have him in their ranks alongside Carl Pentney in the goalkeeping department.
The Clarets are also pleased to welcome youngster Jack Paxman on board, who signs from Southend United. The versatile midfielder spent time out on loan at Ryman Division One North side Soham Town after impressing in the Shrimpers' Development Squad.
The 19-year-old was at Southend for eight years and possesses a calmness on the ball which will add a new dimension to the City midfield.
Welcome to the club, Tommy and Jack!
