Ricky Modeste Signs for Dover Athletic

By Chris Evans

Young winger Ricky Modeste has departed Chelmsford City in favour of a new challenge with fellow Blue Square Bet South club Dover Athletic, bringing to an end a successful few years of development with the Clarets in the First and Reserve Teams.

Modeste established himself in the City side as a skilful wide player and, having initially agreed to remain with Chelmsford next season, Ricky will now line-up for Nicky Forster’s Kent outfit in 2012/13. Everyone at Chelmsford City FC would like to thank Ricky for his efforts with the club, spanning several campaigns at Melbourne Stadium.
