Max Porter: "We showed a good level of commitment"

By Chris Berry

Midfielder, Max Porter also caught up with Clarets TV after City's 2-0 victory over Woking.

“Recently we've been conceding goals probably at the worst times, so we definitely needed a response. ” Max Porter, Midfielder & Coach

The holding midfielder and coach was delighted after being brought back into the starting 11.

"I'm delighted" he said. "We've had a bit of a rubbish week and maybe it wasn't a good time for the team to come out of form, but I think we showed fantastic character today.

"It wasn't the prettiest of performances at times. The pitch probably doesn't help with that. It looks fantastic from the stands, but it's a bit dry and a little bit bobbly.

"I think we showed a good level of commitment during tough moments. Recently we've been conceding goals probably at the worst times, so we definitely needed a response.

"Hopefully this win can be a fantastic platform for the rest of the season, with more games and 3rd time lucky in the playoffs!"
