Amos Moves On

By Chris Berry

We can confirm the release of Amos Nasha following the end of the 2018/19 season.

The central midfielder joined us from Concord Rangers in the summer of 2018 and featured in the starting 11 for the majority of our opening games of the 2018/19 season.

Amos (pictured) scored his first goal for the Clarets in September's home defeat to St Albans City, hitting a spectacular volley from far out into the top corner.

His last game in a City shirt came in the 2-1 victory over Coggeshall Town in the Essex Senior Cup on Monday 7th January. He went on to join East Thurrock United on an initial one-month's loan and proceeded to stay with the Rocks for the rest of the season in a move to get regular game time and match fitness.

In total, Amos made 16 appearances for the Clarets in all competitions, scoring 3 goals.

We'd like to thank Amos for his efforts last season and wish him the best in the future.

Where next?

Haines Departs Club stalwart Mark Haines will be departing Chelmsford City after 10 seasons with the Clarets.
Fenwick Heads Back North Scott Fenwick departs the Clarets after one-and-a-half seasons with the Club.
