Clarets lose to Beavers after goalkeeping error
Hampton & Richmond Borough beat Chelmsford City 2-1 as errors and strong wind plagued a scrappy game at Melbourne Community Stadium in the Vanarama National League South.

Hampton took just three minutes to open the scoring when Max Kretzschmar slotted past 19-year-old on-loan Watford goalkeeper, Nathan Gartside.
Clarets' captain, Anthony Church, equalised with a header on the hour mark before Elliot Charles capitalised on a howler from Gartside to win the game for Hampton.
"I'm very disappointed", said Chelmsford City manager, Rod Stringer, "it's a tough defeat. If you look at the amount of possession we had in the second half, when it's back at 1-1 we've got to go on and win the game. But we've made another mistake, which happened on Tuesday, which is unfortunate for the lad from Watford but he's 19-years-old and he's cost us some goals."
It was a disastrous start for the Clarets. Straight from kick-off Hampton were pressurising their backline, forcing corner after corner. The second of which found Kretzschmar alone in the 18-yard-box who slotted into the far corner past Gartside.
The Clarets looked for an instant reply and almost got one as Church shot wide from inside Hampton's 18-yard box in the ninth minute.
After a frantic start the game settled down, with chances for both teams.
City nearly equalised from a corner but Hampton goalkeeper Manny Agboola saved a header from Mark Haines on the line.
Hampton had a golden opportunity to claim their second, as Charlie Wassmer thundered a header against the bar from a corner from just two-yards out.
Josh Taylor very nearly made it 2-0 after 33-minutes, as his shot from the right beat Gartside but Elliot Omuzusi was covering the far post and headed off the line.
It took City 41-minutes to get their second shot on target, with Matthew Johnson turning and shooting on the edge of the box but Agboola held it well.
A minute before half time, Hampton earned a free kick on the edge of the City box after Brendan Kiernan was brought down, but Kretzschmar's effort was put well over the bar.
In the final action of the first half, Michael Spillane had a header from a corner turned off the line by a Hampton defender.
As the teams switched sides at half time so did the emphasis of play, with the strong wind now in Chelmsford's favour.
The Clarets were sharp out of the blocks, Shaun Batt getting a header on target from a Daniel Green cross but was saved by Agboola.
Church equalised for The Clarets in the 59th-minute, heading in at the back post from a corner on the right side.
As was the case in the previous game at Hemel Hempstead, an error from Gartside cost Chelmsford another goal. The young loanee goalkeeper misjudged the bounce of the ball from a corner leaving an empty net for Charles to head in.
City manager, Rod Stringer, needed to change things after going behind to such an avoidable goal and so brought on Thomas Hitchcock for Taylor Miles on 70-minutes.
The Clarets were becoming petulant and angry as a number of decisions went against them, so Stringer made more changes just six minutes later. Shaun Batt and Jonny Giles made way for Chris Dickinson and Kudus Oyenuga.
Into the final 10-minutes and the Clarets were trying everything to get back on level terms. Green tried a speculative shot from midway through Hampton's half but couldn't trouble Agboola who safely gathered it.
Johnson came very close soon after, hitting a ferocious right-footed volley marginally over the bar.
Hampton looked to shut the game down in its final minutes, substituting the lively Kiernan for Leon Soloman and Harry Crawford for Taurean Roberts.
